Thank you Embrace for the extremely fast response in processing Rizzo's claim when he ingested leather from a sandal. The timely acknowledgment of a new claim, the update in claim status and fast processing is extremely helpful and appreciated.

Daisy, our 4 lb. poodle had a serious bout with an intestinal infection which necessitated several vet visits, blood tests, x-rays and medications ending up with nearly $1000 in vet bills. Shortly after her recovery, she had her teeth cleaned. I was pleased when I submitted the two requests that I received an email acknowledgement and an update on status. We were also pleased with the amount of reimbursement and the followup call we received. We just renewed the policy.

3/10   Denying Claims is what they do BEST!
Almost every claim takes about 30-60 days to get paid especially if you have to appeal their decision and have your vet write a personal note. In my situation, they like to always claim a "pre-existing" condition. For example, my dog got a staph infection that was eating away at his skin 11 months after we got the policy. They denied it within a week and said "pre-existing" condition. If that were the case, then my dog would have died by know. No medical records requested at all! Processor likes to deny claims within 7 days or request medical records and deny claims in 14-21 days. Their customer service agents and their call center manager agreed that it should not have been denied and at the very least, medical records should have been requested. Still waiting on decision as we approach 30 days on something that should have been paid weeks ago. On the plus, their online system to submit claims is easy and allows you to even write a comment, so I gave a 3 instead of a 1. Even though I think the claim processors don't read them. Otherwise, they would have requested medical records on the bacteria that was eating away at my dog's skin.

10/10   Up Font Company that Honors Its Commitments
My toy poodle was diagnosed with luxating patellas. After communicating with four doctors that my dog had seen, Embrace covered the doctor's visits, the surgery, and the rehab. My little girl is improving daily with crate rest and a prescribed exercise program. All the representatives from Embrace promptly and compassionately answered all my questions. It has been a real pleasure dealing with Embrace, especially after having a horrid experience with another disreputable pet insurance company a number of years ago. I have since recommended Embrace to three of my friends. I highly recommend every pet owner purchase pet insurance. My dog's surgery came during a time two household appliances needed to be replaced, and four of the trees in my yard were in desperate need of maintenance. Thanks to Embrace, I don't have to worry about paying my home repair bills.

10/10   Healthy Paws is AMAZING all around!!
If you are reading this, then you are a dog lover and know that insuring your pet is the same as insuring your loved one. Isn't that what our pets are...our loved ones!!! I have two words....HEALTHY PAWS....If you don't purchase this pet insurance for your dog, then you are making a very bad mistake. Even in tough times, insurance is a must. My family and I awoke one morning to our 7 year old dog having multiple seizures. The day before she was a machine running miles. Out of nowhere, we found ourselves with a very sick dog, a brain tumor. We were devastated!!! Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has been with us from day one. We were told our baby had 2-3 weeks to live without any intervention. From emergency to diagnosis and through treatment, this company has been professional, reassuring and followed through on claims just as promised. All phone calls answered, all questions answered and even an email checking on our pet. We are almost at 4 months into this terrible and very expensive situation. I would not be writing this review because my dog wouldn't be here now without Healthy Paws. This is a company that is straight forward, professional and kind. They do what they say they are going to do and they give back to homeless pets, so when we purchased Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, we gave a gift and got a gift. We don't know how long we have with our girl, but we have been given the gift of time to love her more and have a longer goodbye. I have shared this company with all of my dog friends and will continue to spread the two words HEALTHY PAWS. Thank you Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!!!

I can't recommend Pethealth Insurance enough! They are so kind and caring about our dogs, and the claims I have filed have been reimbursed timely. All representatives that I have dealt with have great customer service and I truly am glad that both of my dogs are covered by them.

10/10   Embrace, a 10 out of 10 pet insurance company.
I rescued a 2 year old miniature poodle after the passing of my 18 1/2 year old poodle. I did have pet insurance for the first pet, but not Embrace. That company was OK, but had many restrictions. I researched many of the available pet insurance companies and settled on Embrace. It was the best decision I had made for insurance. My vet hospital automatically submits my claims to Embrace, and then Embrace notifies me they have receive the claim. In a few days I receive another notice that the claim was approved. Then in another few days, I receive the check. I have never had a claim rejected, or questioned. I only wish my own health insurance company was as responsible as Embrace. I also told my Vet hospital that if anyone asks about pet insurance to mention Embrace Pet Insurance on my recommendation.
