| 1/10 Don't touch it |
| Sadly after a short while on taking out PC pet insurance, our little cat became sick. He's still going after 6 months thatnks to the vet and medication.
However PC run an agressive risk management system, as they call it! What it actually is, is a wriggling out clause.
After 6 months they reviewed our claims and said that our claim rate was too high! We had not come even close to the maximum it has to be said. What they did was reduce our co-insurance to 50% instead of 80%, but we still have to pay the same premium.
When I wrote and complianed, some young girl phoned me and said it was because our claims were higher thatn what we had paid in!!!!! Isn't that the point of insurance. If we looked at it that way we might as well not have any insurance at all.
On the plus side, their agents are very pleasant on the telephone. However, their insurance stinks! |

| 8/10 No problems... |
| I have been with PC Pet Insurance for a couple years now, and only have had to submit 1 claim (which was worth while), and I was reimbursed in a timely manner. I have no real complaints with their service, and from shopping around for other insurance, for what you pay for theirs, I believe it's been worth it. |

| 1/10 Cancelling our policy - save your money! |
| With virtually no claims in 6 years, they doubled their deductable when our girsl turned 5, then 7, (fine print detail)all without advanced notice. Feed your dogs real food, stay away from bagged or canned foods and save your money from PC Insurance as they are making serious dollars on our fears or stupidity...
Know better now and could have used the $5K plus we have paid out in insurance fees. Silly us! |

| 1/10 One pre-insurance trip to the vet = no coverage |
| My Yorkie cross has been to the vet once in her young life (10 months old) for a tummy ache after getting into garbage. The result, no coverage for anything gastrointestinal. What a joke. I'm cancelling tomorrow. |

| 2/10 Will drop your coverage immediately!!! |
| Do not go with PC Financial Pet care. I paid for their plan, paid paid paid, then my dog had to go into the vet for ONE visit. Get that ONE. SINGLE VISIT.
After this ONE visit and subsequently ONE claim, PC Financial decided to do their semi-annual review and dropped my coverage from 80% to 50%. The only good thing I can say is at least they accepted the ONE claim.
The MOMENT you file a SINGLE claim, they'll drop the coverage down as far as they can go. Don't go with this company. |

| 4/10 not enough information |
| I will redo this review once I receive all the documentation and payment information for my policy. It does seem like it has been overly long since completing the application and as my cc acct has not yet been charged so I was just checking the site to verify the status of the application. |
