All my questions were answered, received pre-approval, submitted my claim after my dog's surgery and received the check a few weeks later. My experience with 24pet watch was exceptional, great customer service all around.

I have had 24pet Care ever since I adopted my terrier mix from a local shelter. She is now over 12 years old (much too old to be covered under another insurance ). Initially, the response to any claims I made were slow, but here of late it has become ridiculous. I submitted a claim for over $1300.00 as of July 2, and became a bit concerned because I didn't get the usual follow up to my claim submission, which incidenty was faxed to them. Out of curiosity, I called them and they told me they needed "updated" health information. What is with this? They have more health information on my dog than my GP has on me, and they need more "up-to-date" health information. When I questioned WHY they needed more health information, and they saw I was a bit upset, the agent (who, I must admit, was very pleasant) came up with the response that they requested the Veterinary Team to fax them all the updated information. I still don't get it.........all the updated information was submitted with the claim......I was in the office when it was submitted. Will someone please tell me what I am missing out on here?

1/10   "free 30 day gift of ins" NOT a gift at all!, 7/17/2015

I rescued a 14 week old kitten from our local SPCA and he came with a free 30 days of pet insurance threw 24 hour pet watch. Upon bringing him home he got very sick and needed to go the vet twice within his first week with me. I paid everything out of pocket, had the vet office fax both claims. Nothing ever got sent to me saying they got the claims or approved/denied. I had to call repeatedly for a month, and sit on hold for a ridiculously long time jut to find out they had denied EVERYTHING both visits, because he had a fever. And fevers are not on the miniscule list of things they will actually cover. So despite his other issues, everything was denied due to the fever. This company is a joke and their customer service is even worse.

I sent in my claim on 6/15/15. They actually approved the claim pretty quickly, then they stated the would send the reimbursement check out. I have called back three times now. The last time I was told that the check was sent out on 7/3/15, which was 2 weeks ago now. Starting to wonder if this company is a complete sham.

We received three months of PetCare insurance when we adopted our dog three and a half years ago. After the three months were up we renewed the policy. At some point however, my husband was issued a new credit card and somehow the monthly PetCare fees did not transfer over. We discovered we were uninsured just when we actually needed the insurance. I have had the 70% Quickcare Gold coverage for 2 years for both my dogs. While my first dog has had a pretty decent reimbursment rate for allergies, she has almost maxed out her coverage in this catagory (where she needs it the most). Our dog needed TPLO surgery and this company denied him because when he was 6 months old he had growing pains which all Saint Bernards have. He is 7 years old and tore his ACL in a slip/fall. This comapny had the audacity to say that it was a pre-existing condition from when he was 6 montsh old. How can tearing your ACL in the knee be pre-existing? He fell!
